Does CloudMonitor work for all Azure Subscriptions types?

CloudMonitor uses the Azure Cost APIs to extract data for analytics. Not all Azure Subscriptions allow the use of the Azure APIs, especially Sponsored or “Credit” based Subscriptions.

Here is the full list of Azure Subscription Types that are NOT supported by Azure and therefore by CloudMonitor: 

  • MS-AZR-0145P (CSP)
  • MS-AZR-0146P (CSP)
  • MS-AZR-159P (CSP)
  • MS-AZR-0036P (sponsored)
  • MS-AZR-0143P (sponsored)
  • MS-AZR-0015P (internal)
  • MS-AZR-0144P (DreamSpark)

Only EA and MCA Billing Accounts are supported. MOSP Accounts are not.
